Park and bit of mourning

Had a trip into warwick today to drop T off for a funeral I went with children to the park by st. Nicks and we played about for 2 hours! Longest time I’ve ever spent in independent place. Had some sandwiches and then other people turned up and E decided he wanted to leave.

Back home now for a nice cuppa tea.

Not unsurprisingly the funeral was massively emotional and quite difficult for T. Given who it was and their own circumstances just the thought was kinda horrible And crap as it sounds it does put a perspective on things.

A lot off talking bit maybe not enuf doing. Posted the iphone 4 and ate more soup. Defiantly warmer today, probly didn’t need a scarf.

Played rolly’s PRS which is very very nice! Lots of natural sustain. Maybe I need one.

Hello. Another week begins after a weekend of walking round town, eating pizza and trying to keep children entertained. There were many cupcakes and cakes for wedding being made and tested.

Went back to work after very quick Xmas. It rained it hailed it blew. Went into the bank in cov. Wrote a bug list at work cane home and have just finished reading ratatouille to e.

Where’s the wine.

3 glasses of wine, 2 episode of man v food. One phone call with ed wood, beef stew and top 50 reality tv show clips… all of them bad.

So it occurs to me that there are so many social networking apps and sites that surely most are just pointless. Foursquare: installed that, not much happens if you don’t know many people on it, so I deleted it. One of the three people I linked up with lives in Seattle, so I’m not really gonna find out anything useful from him.

Google+… well what’s the point? I’m on Facebook and am not about to start posting pics of my life somewhere else just cause it’s google.

Twitter… Again this seems to be people telling about where t hey are occasionally there is a useful link posted but mostly it just waffle. I often think twice about posting just coz in case it seems dull.

Blogging… Oh, seem to be doing that right now!

Indexing update

So,our indexing continues and we are now up to over 360 pages. This is a good start and evidence that google is always working whatever the weather. No pages are appearing in the search result yet but this is gonna take more time.
Another bottle of red last night and I finished off coding to allow us to have specific search based urls allowing us to create urls that go to the search result page but tailored to what we want to show.

…i’ve been rather sadly checking the google index and we are starting to index! the first instance of a new page has appeared oddly for east midlands spas.

after some discussions, complaints and dissappointments the website is now back in productions. we ar going live without a proper design in place so it is essentially just content and seeding the search engines.

so far so good, Xenu shows no errors and now i’m just waiting for the indexing to begin so we can see how it affects ranking straight from nothing to everything.

30 days of entries

I was gonna start to write a diary every day for the next thirty days but realise this is very unlikely to happen. Instead I will try and post an entry every couple of days with this.post being the first.

We are almost at the royal.wedding and the most.free.holiday we may ever experience unless the queen dies. 4 day week, 3 day then 4 day week! I don’t like the royal but I’m not complaining.

Still nothing really exciting to report. I did listen to the arcade fire album “suburbs” which is… Alright, nothing fantastical about it and def not as good as OK GO.

Sun final has chosen to make an appearance so hopefully more opportunity to get out in the garden and make use of out bigger garden space and newly moved fence.
